One of the fundamental things that has to change, for us to thrive as a species, is the focus shift from effort to results.
For example, in academia we award Doctorate (lit. Teacher) degrees to people who clearly cannot teach, who have never tought, and often do not even have anyting of merit to teach. We award Master degrees to people who have spent the appropriate ammount of effort, but are not likely to have mastered anything. The same applies to Bachelor’s (lit. Proprietor) or Associates.
This prevails throughout our every industry and practice and it must change. What are your thoughts on changing it?
