Bucketing outdoors

Well, today I experienced something slick. I was out at Bucketworks, covering the front and studying for my law school, when James rushed in and said: the weather is beautiful, let’s move all work outside. In a matter of 15 minutes folding tables and chairs were setup, extension power cords were run and about half a dozen geeks has moved from a stuffy office to the beautiful parking lot.

The spontanaity of it all totally broke up any monotony and gave us a great opportunity to change gears and very quickly go back to our work. It was a cool experience, since there is no bosses and everyone is working on their own projects, yet we all worked together.

The question poped in my head: What would happen to the businesses around the country if they had this kind of flexibility? What would happen if they actually did this? How would this change the way we view our world?
