E-M8 Entrepreneurial Management for Eternal Mission

If there is one quality in people that can account for 90% of their success, this is it. People who can persevere, can accomplish just about anything. And here is the crazy part, no amount of brilliance or ability can substitute for the simple quality of perseverance.

To make it easier to persevere, I broke down the perseverance in these steps:

1. Visualize the goal. If you know where you are going and can continue to focus on that goal, perseverance becomes a bit easier.
2. Determine the value of the goal. It has to be worth it. Perseverence is not likely to happen without the dogged determination. 
3. Iterate. It’s a fancy foot for putting one leg in front of the other. This is really the heart of perseverance, not looking at a goal that is impossibly far, but rather just taking one small step at a time. Be incremental. Use the secret of the dripping water, that can cut through hardest of substances. Iterate.
4. And when it seems impossible to iterate, persevere. At the heart of perseverance is just that, perseverance. When it seems impossible, do it anyways.
5. In persevering, persuade others, since it is much easier to persevere when you are not alone. Perseverance is very persuasive, so just keep at it until others catch on.
6. Once others catch on, exude influence to encourage them. Help them help you persevere.
7. Finally a point will come when there is enough crucial mass to overcome friction. After that persevering will become easier.
8. But as friction is overcome, momentum needs to be built. So, it is crucial to not stop, once the resistance subsides. Generating momentum is the final step of perseverance.
