E-M8 Entrepreneurial Management for Eternal Mission

Nanotechnology, like any other technology requires a lot less precision to kill people then to make them whole, thus some of the first applications will be military, spying and mind-control, thus at least initially there can be lots of negative effects of a technology that is way more powerful than anything we’ve mishandled in the past.

Since this technology is so powerful, we must at least entertain the possibility that it will destroy our world, or throw us in to a post apocalyptic dark ages.  If that were to happen, obviously singularity is not likely to be the resulting product.
