E-M8 Entrepreneurial Management for Eternal Mission

I admit, it was not intentional, but the day Windows 7 came out, a friend of mine, who was just as clueless as I to that fact asked me to help him pick out his new PC. So, last night, after buying the bottom of the barrel PC, that is still more powerful than anything I personally own, we ended up spending part of the evening setting up.

First impression: It is a nicely cleaned up version of Vista, that feels less tacky and annoying. The PC was very responsive, the configuration almost completely plug and play. I have to admit that it was not bad, not bad at all. While I don’t see any value to abandon XP or Ubuntu for Windows 7, it is likely the death of Vista, since it is faster and less quirky. Expect to see it on the corporate network near you within a few years, hopefully bypassing the need to have ever used Vista.
