Well, it’s not JUST about the money to be precise. Money is an important tool and an indicator, it is necessary in conducting business, it can translate in to many rewards that success brings. But in the end money is a symptom 99% of time, rarely is the money the real issue.
After all with a good customer base, good processes, good tools, good employees and good management, money can be earned. So, lack of money indicates either a failing in one or more of these areas or lack of time necessary to get there or both.
Don’t get me wrong, money is important, but in the end it is just a measurement tool, like a speedometer on a car. It maybe dangerous to drive without it, but an experienced driver can manage most of the time quite well.
What is paramount, are the relationships and no business can function without those. A transaction simply cannot happen if two parties do not agree to cooperate. And business is nothing more than a series of ongoing transactions.
